Because they recently launched and guys. if you’re new to our Blog then don’t forget to subscribe join our notification squad. So let’s begin with our today’s Best Android Apps and as usual we will show the apps in random order.
20+ The Best Android Apps of November
Welcome back to the best Android apps did some Arana have one wallpaper app, six apps and four games. If you want to see more awesome apps in the future and without any further ado let’s jump right in wallpapers.
Wolpepper app for this month all of its walls are from unsplash.com and even though I rarely review these types of apps.
Since there are so many similar ones out there. I really found this one to be unique the interface is gorgeous with satisfying animations.
There are a ton of settings you can customize around with it categorizes. All the pictures really well in the collection tab it supports mosaic.
And each thumbnail preview has an orientation icon to show you if the image is in landscape for scroll over wallpapers or can only be set as portrait.
When tapping on a picture provides a ton of information including the camera settings number of downloads etc.
And when you tap on the paint roller icon it will allow you to edit the picture before you set it or you can download the image by tapping the download icon.
Since all these walls are from unsplash there are over 200,000 walls to discover and there are ton more features that I didn’t even mention since this episode feature packed so definitely give it a try.
2. Face Pause
The next app is called base pause and it has one set goal to stop any game or video. When you’re not looking at the screen.
It uses your front-facing camera to detect if you’re staring at the display and when you look away or your camera isn’t facing you everything gets pods.
It works perfectly with YouTube Instagram videos or stories any game you’re playing and more within the settings.
You can do a ton of things such as customize the standby screen use the rear camera for face detection. Which I’m not sure why you would do that specifying how often the camera should check.
If you have turned away and more just keep in mind that this can impact your battery life and it’s not very convenient for a pop of selfie camera like on the 1+ 7 PRO.
3. Firefox Preview
Looking for a simple fast and light based browser check out Firefox preview by Mozilla. It’s got all of your basic browser settings.
It can block tracking scripts by default and apparently. It’s twice as fast as the original Firefox browser on the Play Store. Also love that the address bar is at the bottom for more comfortable use with one hand.
I can transform any article or page into a simple piece for just the text and images and links plus. I can customize the appearance and a unique feature that this browser has is pod collections which lets you save multiple websites into different packages. So you can open them quickly when you first open the app.
For example I have collections for multiple Andrew websites popular news sources and websites that I follow just for fun sure. It’s not a Google Chrome replacement. But it provides a better and more modern browsing experience when compared to Mozilla other white browser called Firefox focus.
For those who love listening to music and want to discover the latest and greatest check out spotty to music is all over the place.
Every music platform including Spotify billboard YouTube Apple music Amazon music and more have their own charts curated based on their own users platform.
Data spotty tube combines all these charts to create the ultimate music charts. So you can honestly know what are the most popular songs to date you can also see the top charts of each country by the year and the top songs of each artist.
It also lets you play each song since it searches for it on YouTube and it imports every Spotify playlist which you can find in the donor section or on the main page.
So if you’re looking to discover new music for free check out spotty to a new launch RS join the game.
5. Shade Launcher
This one is called shade launcher. It’s by the same developer who created the famous route list launcher and even though. It has a similar pixel launcher feel.
It comes with a few unique features and a few unique options for customization that other launcher competitors don’t have.
For example in the app drawer the top section doesn’t have your most-used or recently used apps. Instead of includes categories so you can quickly find certain types of apps.
Another unique feature is that the search widget isn’t just limited to Google search you can also change it to search via Google Chrome. The Kiwi browser Yelp or any other search widget from a third-party app.
There’s also a ton of set themes that you can choose from two of my favourites are midnight and sunrise lastly the at-a-glance woods. It also displays the latest notification that you’ve received however one of the most exciting features is that.
This launcher includes plugins that you can manually install from the internet. The only plugin as of right now is for the discover panel. I’ll drop a link down below.
If you want to download it but in the future other developers can create their own plugins to work with this launcher since there will be an open source plug-in system.
So even though this launcher isn’t that feature packed as some of the older launchers out there such as lawn chair. It still has a lot of potential so I keep my eye on this one.
If you’re a person that uses uber or a left to get around that you should use any right to compare their prices for any future trips.
So you can save money you can choose your destination and then you can see the exact fare options from both uber and lyft from there.
You can request the right within the app. So you don’t even need to open lyft or uber to see. What’s going on and the price has shown are exactly the same as an uber or lyft. There are no strings attached so next time you say when you got the club and you need a ride back.
Chrono or chrono is another excellent way to sync your phone across your desktop with the simple google chrome plugin. It’ll mirror your mobile notifications and you can manage these notifications from your desktop.
Such as clearing them or applying the text or dismissing phone calls on top of that. You can sync the clipboard ring your phone.
If you can’t find it and send a file that is below 25 megabytes in size the app is completely free with no in-app purchases or a so download it right away.
Anyways the first game that I wanted to show off is called blue. It’s a sequel to the other popular colour puzzle games called black red.
And yellow the goal behind each level is simple just make the entire screen blue each level is unique.
So you have to think outside the box and there are 50 levels to complete seem like a simple task. But after a dozen or more levels it starts to get really difficult so if you’re up for a challenge give it a try.
9. Gravity Box
Gravity box is a simple and minimalist physics game or your objective is to get a small square from point A to point B to move the square.
You tap on the screen and the box will shoot out circles depending on where the projectiles will land the box will move in the opposite direction.
So if you want to move to the right you have to tap on the left side and if you’re going to move to the left. You have to tap on the right side the controls take time to get used to. But it’s a really awesome game to test your accuracy reverse thinking and reactions.
10. Fishing Life
Looking for a peaceful game check out fishing light in this game you swim out to the sea and try to catch the biggest fish possible.
Each fishy catch will give you money so you can upgrade your fishing line and boat and once you get deep into the game.
You’ll be able to we’re fish sharks and even big Wells personally. I love the graphics and sound effects because they’re incredibly soothing and beautiful. So if you’re looking for a game that you’ll probably end up playing in the long run this is an excellent one.
The last game on this list is called or dia it does cost three dollars and 99 cents and I really show off paid games but this one is actually worth it.
Because it’s so much fun basically you have to navigate a blob. I mean I think it’s a blob I don’t know. What that is it looks like an eyeball but you have to catapult the blob towards the next green circle until you reach the end of the stage.
You also have to avoid monsters and certain plants. Because you’ll lose immediately and if you accidentally miss a green circle.
You’ll begin to fall until you luckily land on a green circle the graphics are amazing and the game play is enjoyable and easy to get the hang of.
12. School Planner
The first step is called school planner and it’s a must-have for any student. Because this will help organize your courses and assignments a lot better for starters by inputting your homework exams or projects.
The app will remind you of any of the due dates plus on the main page. It will show you what daily tasks need to be completed as well as any upcoming events.
So that you can plan ahead you can set basic reminders for anything and if you add your courses to the app then.
It will create a beautiful schedule in the timetable sections and the coolest feature is that this will show you an estimation of your overall grade. Based on all of the quizzes homework scores and project scores that you add in.
13. Otter Voice Meeting Notes
Otter voice meeting notes is a must for anyone who wants to voice record the professor or the teacher. I voice record my professors because they sometimes explain everything way too quickly.
It’s easy to miss important information on top of that other times. It’s just hard to understand what they’re trying to say. Because they may have a thick accent or I happen to come in late not to say in the back of the class with this voice recorder.
I can transcribe everything the professor says in real time. And then later on I can search through the text to find a specific term or topic just keep in mind.
That if you sit in the back of the class. You’re really far away this that transcription won’t be that good so you might want to stay closer to the closer to the front other amazing features.
Is that all the recordings are automatically uploaded to the cloud. So you’ll never lose any of them you can insert photos live of whiteboard discussions. Slides and the recording the free version lets you record up to 600 minutes a month. You can share your recordings easily and much more.
One problem that I sometimes run into when I’m in class is that sometimes I forget to silence my phone and occasionally.
I have that embarrassing moment where it’ll start to ring during lecture well a great solution to this is to download an app.
That will automatically turn down the volume right when you were right to school I found macro droid to be that great solution.
As it lets me automate this task real easily here’s how to do it just open the app select add macro and in the triggers tab select location. And then location trigger from there select area entered add your school by searching for it on the map.
And make sure the entire radius covers a school zone then once you select the region go to the actions tab. Where you will make the volume get disabled once you reach the school so select volume then silent vibrate off.
Then select the enable option or if you prefer priority notifications to still come through you can choose that option within the priority mode / Do Not Disturb button.
Finally select the checkmark give this macro a name and that’s it now every time you arrive to school your phone will automatically mute the sound.
What’s the point of this Blog if I don’t show off a note-taking app well for anyone with a stylus. I highly recommend you try out squid you let you take Henry notes on a vast digital piece of paper.
That you can zoom in and out of and you can add multiple pages to it it’s perfect for your mathematics or science courses.
Since you’ll be dealing with a ton of equations graphs and drawings with most of the programs such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs because some drawings are just not possible.
Unless you outsource to a third party option that’s a lot that you can import PDFs and mark them up to fill out forms sign documents etc.
You can also use your finger to write but it can get pretty sloppy that’s why I recommend notebook by Soho corporation for anyone who wants to take notes using a qwerty keyboard for each class you take.
You create a notebook for it and in each journal you can write down notes for each day the layout is very similar to that of Google heat.
But it has a ton more features you can make a drawing and included in your text of notes include bullet points.
Customize the text custom text links quotations and more you can also make voice notes attach documents pictures. And even lock notebooks or specific notes.
If you like if you prefer writing notes on a laptop and this app has its own website so you can switch between both platforms seamlessly.
A bad habit that I have is that I continuously spend too much time on Twitter Instagram or even snapchat and what school just around the corner.
I have to limit my distractions to a bare minimum with action – I can do just that developers just released two new features to help you stop your phone addiction.
The first one is called focus mode which allows you to select any apps that you find to be distracting and then.
When this option is enabled it’ll simply lock you out of those apps there’s also another setting called app usage limits.
Which I prefer using to limit my phone usage with this feature. You can set how long you want to use an app each day and then when the time is up they’ll lock you out until the next day. So if you want to get rid of those distractions give action.
A try for when you’re studying and need to learn a couple of terms or vocabulary words. I recommend you download Quizlet.
It already has millions of study sets created by other students so if you need to learn a specific topic from biology physics mathematics English etc.
They most likely have whatever topic your teacher is currently covering and if they don’t then you can just create your own flashcards with custom images and audio plus. You’ll still be able to learn up your new keywords quickly.
19. Hiedu Scientific Calculator
If you’re looking for a solid calculator app. I have two recommendations the first one is called high edu scientific calculator.
The design isn’t that great but it sure is powerful not only can it do any advanced calculations you draw at it but it also has templates for families equations to solve them quickly.
It comes with different calculator modes including ones for programmers so I can easily convert a decimal value to binary hex or octal.
I can graph things do conversions with any unit measurement and it has all the math physics and chemistry formulas just in case you want to look one up.
20. All in One Calculator
If you’re looking for something a bit more modern and pleasing to the eye then check out only one calculator.
This probably isn’t a great option for anyone in college or advanced mathematics but it can do the basic calculations for algebra geometry or other everyday calculations.
It can convert almost every unit help you with Finance give you an estimate of body fat percentage tell you the difference between two dates. Pelle can even calculate how much you’re going to pay for gas when you make a road trip.
21. Wolframe Alpha
If you’re looking for something that will solve the entire problem for you with step-by-step instructions. I have two options the first one is Wolfram Alpha which is a potent tool that will solve almost every math or physics equation.
Including calculus or an engineering problem the only annoying thing about this app is that the search bar to type in an equation doesn’t format anything.
Until you hit Enter so when it comes to the calculus or physics problem and you need to type out a bunch of weird Greek letters multiple fractions etc.
It can get pretty confusing to type in the bright equation also you need to pay your monthly subscription eventually if you want to use all the full features.
Socratic is a bit more straightforward you just take a picture of the math equation on your worksheet and then.
It will look up the solution online it’ll provide multiple sources so you can verify if the answer is correct.
And then I’ll show you the step-by-step instructions as well it’s completely free with no in-app purchases it’s just not as powerful as Wolfram Alpha.
So don’t expect this to work out well with really complicated calculus problems or engineering problems for that matter.
The Next app is grammerly keyboard this is probably the best app to fix any grammar mistakes in your paper .I prefer using the desktop program.
Because it’s a bit more practical but if you’re in class I want to make some quick edits to your notes then this keyboard will get the job done. Trust me when I say that this program will definitely improve your grammar. And you’ll begin to write a lot better if you keep using grammar.
